Places I'd Like to Visit

Last week when I was hanging out with friends, one of them said that he made a list of the places he wanted to visit and showed the list to his friends so if anyone happened to be interested in the same place, they might come up with a plan. I thought it was an excellent idea. So here I am, listing some places I would like to go one day. If any of you are interested in any of them, we might be able to work out something. :)

上星期，一個朋友說他把所有想去的地方列出來，給他的朋友們看，如果有人剛好也想去一樣的地方，就可以一起計畫。我覺得這真是個好主意！所以，我在此列了一些地點，看看有沒有人對這些地方有興趣囉。

- Xi-an, China, and the Silk Road／西安與絲路
Xi-an, being a capital of ancient China, was the starting point of the Silk Road. The more I learn about the Silk Road, the more I am interested in the cultural exchange happened there.
- Tibet／西藏
I'm sure everyone has seen amazing pictures of Tibet.
- Turkey／土耳其
The cross point of Asia and Europe, the ancient ruins, and the footsteps of Paul.
- Auschwitz, Poland／波蘭
I know. This is a sad place, but I just want to see it! Of course, if I do go to Poland, the Auschwitz wouldn't be the only place to visit. There are definitely other happy places to go on the same trip.
- Germany (especially Berlin)／德國（特別是柏林）
Ever since I took German classes, Berlin has always been on my list.
- Northern Europe／北歐
OK, this is very general. I don't know that much about Northern Europe, but there are the northern lights and the glaciers, and this is where many fairy tales start. Oh, and I learned from Wikipedia that Northern Europe includes the UK and Ireland (?).
- Egypt／埃及
The pyramids of course.
- Peru／祕魯
The glory of the Incas and the beauty of nature.
- Belize／貝里斯
To be honest, I'm not exactly sure what I get to see in Belize, but when I asked someone who's done a lot of traveling, he said that I might like Belize, where culture (the Mayas) and nature both exist.
- US and Canada／美國和加拿大
I wasn't sure if I should put them on the list because I am right here in the North America. The fact is that I'd love to travel all over the US and Canada. I'd go on any trips to as far as Alaska and as near as Pittsburgh. (Yeah, I'm planning on doing Pittsburgh soon.) I'm also hoping to visit some friends that I haven't seen in a while. This should be easier to accomplish.

The list above is not in any kind of order. They're simply places that popped up in my mind. I do have preference, though, taking time and money into consideration. Basically, I'd go anywhere that I've never been. There are even places that I've been but don't mind going for a second time. Anyways, let me know if we can become travel buddies! :D

上面的列表沒什麼順序，就只是腦子裡浮出的地點，不過如果考慮時間跟金錢的話，我是有些大略的先後次序。基本上，沒有去過的地方我都會想去，有些地方即使去過了，也不介意再去一次。所以啦，一起旅遊吧！
