IT ALL ENDS. Or does it?

I finally saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 with my all-time Harry-Potter partner, aka my sister Angel. (There's a story to tell of our movie experience that day.) It was a good movie. So much better than the last one.

我終於跟我忠實的哈利波特夥伴（也就是我小妹）看了電影「哈利波特：死神的聖物2」了！（看電影那天，發生了一則走錯戲院的小插曲。）這部電影很棒，比前一部好太多了。

We went to Harry Potter The Exhibition the next day. The movie costumes and props were organized in five sections: The Gryffindor Dormitory, Hagrid's Hut, The Forbidden Forest, Quidditch, and Hogwarts Staff. There were some interactive exhibits. We pulled up young Mandrakes that cried the moment they left their pots. We also shot some Quaffles through the goal hoops. Walking through the exhibition was quite an amazing experience for Harry Potter fans like us. I'd say it was worth the price, but you probably wouldn't understand if you weren't Harry Potter nerds like us.

There was, of course, an exhibition shop. This guy, wearing a robe, was showing the wands, which were duplications of the ones used in the movies. He picked up the wands one by one, told people whose wand it was, and put it in someone's hand. I got Voldemort's wand. Afterwards, Angel and I had this following conversation.

Me: Whose wand would you pick if you were to buy one?
Angel: Hermione's. I like her the best.
Me: Do you know whose wand I'd pick?
Angel: Ummm... Luna's wand?
Me: Hey, that was a good guess. It wasn't what I had in mind, but it was a good choice. Her wand is pretty, and I like her.
Angel: I don't know then.
Me: Voldemort's! You know why?
Angel: Why?
Me: Because I held it! I felt like the moment I touched the wand, the connection was built. I had to pick it. So here's my theory. Mr. Ollivander (of the wand shop) was probably fooling with everyone. He didn't really know which wand belonged to whom. Instead, he just picked up a wand and put it in the buyer's hand, and the connection was built.
Angel: ......

Haha. Okay, I know. My theory was lame. I was just saying. But Voldemort's wand was truly very cool. I wouldn't mind having one.

隔天，我們去看哈利波特展。電影裡的服裝及道具分成五個展區：葛來分多宿舍、海格的小屋、禁忌森林、魁地奇，以及霍格華茲教職員。有些互動的展品，我們從 花盆裡拔出毒蘋果（他們立刻開始哭），也投了魁地奇的快浮。對我們哈利波特迷來說，這個展覽真是很不錯，不過如果你不迷哈利波特，可能無法了解。

當然，也有紀念品商店。有位店員站在一堆魔杖前像大家介紹魔杖（這些是電影裡的複製品），他一一拿起魔杖，介紹是誰的，然後便遞給一個圍觀的人，我拿到了佛地魔的魔杖。之後，我跟我妹有這樣的一段對話：

我：如果要你選，你會選誰的魔杖？
妹：妙麗的，我最喜歡她。
我：你知道我會選誰的嗎？
妹：嗯……露娜的？
我：嘿，這是個好選擇，這不是我心裡想的，不過這是個好選擇。她的魔杖很漂亮，我也很喜歡她。
妹：我不知道。
我：佛地魔的！你知道為什麼嗎？
妹：為什麼？
我：因為我剛剛拿到它了，就有感情了！所以，我在想，奧立凡德（魔杖店老板）可能都是唬人的，他其實並不知道哪根魔杖適合誰，他就拿起一根魔杖，放在別人手裡，他們就有感情了。
妹：……

哈哈，好啦，我這個理論很虛，我只是隨便說說的。不過，佛地魔的魔杖真得很酷！

This Harry-Potter joke I read this morning gave me a good start of the day. It is, however, in Chinese and can't really be translated. Sorry if you don't read Chinese.

今天早上看到這則笑話，讓我的一天有個歡樂的開始：
一個中年人問一個年輕人：「你有看過金庸的小說嗎？」

年輕人：「沒有，只有看過電視劇。」
中年人：「那你知道金庸寫的十四部小說的書名的第一個字，串起來會成為一首詩：『飛雪連天射白鹿，笑書神俠倚碧鴛』嗎？」
年輕人：「不知道耶，但是我有看羅琳（J.K. Rowling）的小說，她寫的七本小說的書名的第一個字串起來——『哈哈哈哈哈哈哈』！」

This is an era. It was fifteen years ago when it all started. Oh, and it's not ended yet. I have yet to visit the Harry Potter Theme Park with my loyal partner!

這真是一個時代。十五年前開始的時代。喔，還沒結束喔，我還要跟我忠實的夥伴去哈利波特主題公園的！
